What adverse effects would occur if fan is on medium instead of high and one is still using the 94003 dehummer control?

The "adverse" effect would be that the fan speeds would be all different than if used with just the de-hummer, there may even be positions on the de-hummer that fail to make the fan move. But there should not be any damage to anything, just improper operation.

hello , I am looking for some fan speed controls I would like the legrand p&s de-hummer in a 3-way is that possible?

We have a few different style of 3way De-hummer fan speed controllers and they would be used a a standard 3way switch on the other side of our 3way circuit: Rotary style - DRDH163PIV Toggle style - TSDDH163PI Decorator Style - RHDH163PTC

The nut on the rotary switch shaft prohibits a standard wall plate from sitting flat against the wall. Do you have any guidance on how to overcome this problem?

A standard Toggle style wallplate is used with the Rotary style devices and it sits on the nut without issues.
